5 Elements – Earth Meditation

Yogis understand and utilise the laws of Nature to attain greater health, power, knowledge, wisdom and sustained contentment in themselves. They use practices effectively to heal, inspire and transform – cultivating equanimity in the Body-Mind connection.

We will layer this meditation for the mind, energy and body to inhabit the qualities and characteristics opening us to balance the Earth within us.

Earth (Prithvi) – Solid material within us, our form, structure, the physical integrity that our bones, muscles and tissues create. That you feel your body stabile, steady and grounded. A calmness to your form as you feel safe and trusting.

  • The abode of the Earth element is said to reside in the Muladhara Chakra.
  • Hasta Mudra – Prithvi Mudra – Thumb to the tip of the ring finger.
  • Bija Mantra for the Earth Element is LAM .
  • Sense organ associated with the Earth is Smell.
