Niyamas
Vinyasa Practice slowly moving in and out of standing poses to apply the Niyamas to yourself as you then hold the pose to deepen your understanding. Niyamas are the key to having a healthier relationship with ourselves. Guidelines, according to the Yoga Sutras, to prepare us for Asana, Pranayama, Pratiahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi.
Niyamas are-

- 2. Samtosa – Contentment
- 3. Tapas – Practices that Create Heat for Positive Change
- 4. Sva Dhyaya – Self-Study
- 5. Isvara Pranidhana – Surrendering to the God head of your Understanding
