Practice Tip #7 – Turning Your Head
Sounds easy enough, turning your head is something we do all the time, however in Yoga we are looking for fluidity and unrestrained stretching. Zephyr will show you how your eyes are connected to your occipital muscles in the neck and when your eyes are engaged in the turning motion, the muscles are actually limited in their mobility. They contract and don’t allow for a full, fluid motion. This is a great tip for twists.
