Zeph doesn’t run yoga retreats; she creates communities.
Whether you are a dyed in the wool spiritual devotee or unfit, tired and unsure this dynamic has got you.
Blending down to earth, belly laughing chill and with genuinely earnest moments of personal, philosophical and spiritual warmth should be impossible; but Zephyr pulls it off.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful and multi-faceted retreat as a serious practitioner, go for it. If you’re a sceptic who doesn’t know their Asana from their elbow and not really sure you have any intention of changing that – go for it, too.
The chances you’ll walk away with new friends, new faith in yourself or a glimmer of respite you didn’t know you needed are improbably high.
I am a mature yoga teacher. I still participate in other classes for inspiration, most teachers offer something. Before Covid, I took a yoga class, when I could, in whichever country I travelled. In the U.K. I now only take Zephyr’s classes, she fills all the boxes for me. She has the ability to weave yoga philosophy into the classes, applying it to our everyday lives, with a down to earth approach. The asana part of the practice works the body, along with the mind and spirit. Can’t ask for much more than that!
Zephyr’s yoga sessions are amazing! I love her style and her sessions have really helped me through some challenging times and to grow personally. Thank you Zephyr!
I came across Zephyr’s class when I was going through depression I was searching for a teacher who digs a little deep and inspires wisdom in practice. Zephyr’s classes where one I had not experienced before with core teachings explained before class to give intention to the practice. I have been practicing with Zephyr for 4 years around the same time the Ealing Triyoga centre opened. Her approach to teaching leaves you feeling whole and complete and with nuggets of wisdom to focus your practice.
I was also blessed enough to travel to Greece for Zephyr’s yoga retreat at Itha 108, it was incredible travelling with amazing people and practicing in an beautiful environment, the food was incredible and so was (optional) skinny dipping! I got to go deeper into myself safely and in a loving way and eat yummy food of course! I would highly recommend the trip, I travelled solo 🙂 after 4 years of know Zephyr’s I’m so proud an honoured to call her my teacher and friend I’ve never felt so grounded in practice. Zephyr’s is also so down to earth and doesn’t take herself too seriously she is approachable loving and kind! She’s also hilariously obsessed with bowels xxx 🙂
Zephyr is an outstanding teacher. She brings the practice to life through a short, insightful and articulate framing of an aspect to the yogic Philosophy to each session. She is soulful, reflective, authentic and radiant. Most important I feel challenged and enriched after each practice. I always make sure to attend her classes whenever I can. I see it as an investment in my spiritual and physical well-being.
I couldn’t recommend Zephyr enough! As a journalist I was drawn to her teachings a few years ago when I was finding the news very disheartening and her classes earned a special place in my heart. The philosophy side is as special as the asana practice and she obviously puts so much thought into each class and this shines through. She is so caring and also so real; for me yoga is about unity and she exemplifies this through her down to earth approach and relatability yet all mixed with the most amazing connection to higher self, it’s quite a gift! Every class I go to of hers I come out feeling not just like I’ve worked out, but I’ve worked on myself. I’ve tried a lot of teachers in London and she remains one of my absolute favourites. Gratitude always Xxx
Zephyr has inspired me in so many ways, her teaching on yogic philosophy is beautifully profound. A teacher who is truly authentic, encouraging & warm!
Yoga practice has been an important part of my life for over 25 years but I had stopped regular practice in the last few years due to the pressures of life and personal circumstances made I felt a bit lost within myself.
Lockdown and losing my job meant I had more time to find my way back to a routine again and I found Zephyr via triyoga online. I am so grateful, not only are her classes a step beyond others in terms of guidance and teaching, the integrated yoga philosophy has brought me healing, spiritual and physical transformation beyond what I thought was possible. I am now back at work, ready to take on whatever life throws at me, so much stronger and intend to keep Zephyr in my life for as long as I can.
Zephyr is an AMAZING teacher. Teacher in the truest sense- she doesn’t just offer a set of asanas, but incorporates the philosophy and essence of yoga and conveys it in a healing and loving way.
It’s a physical but also spiritual practice with Zephyr and challenges both the physical body and the mind.
Practicing with Zephyr has taken my yoga to a much deeper level and has expanded my knowledge of everything behind it.
Very grateful!
I first came to Zephyr’s yoga classes as a gym bunny, and immediately loved the intensity and strength of her sequences. But as I continued to practise with her, I realized that the thing that was staying with me when I left the studio was the yoga philosophy that she was weaving into the classes – as well as the stories she shared and the personal wisdom she was imparting, always delivered with such clarity, generosity and humour. For nearly a decade I practised with Zephyr in person at the Life Centre and on retreat, and now post-baby and after moving out of London, I study with her on-line. She is one of the guiding stars in my life, a point by which I can set my physical, emotional and spiritual compass as I navigate my days. The world feels like an infinitely wiser, kinder, brighter place with Zephyr Wildman teaching in it.
It’s wonderful to be able to practice online with Zephyr Wildman (I don’t live in London). I enjoy the way she weaves philosophy and asana together in her practice in a way that’s accessible and understandable. She provides a good range of cues to be able to modify poses to my ability and how I’m feeling on a particular day and they’re delivered in a non-hierarchical, encouraging way. Practising online with Zephyr has definitely helped me mentally and physically throughout the pandemic.
