“I have been filming a lot over the last few months. Lockdown in Morocco, March through July this year, gave me a gift in the form of time to focus on my practice and share my studies of yogic philosophy with all of you. Whilst I was busy bringing my yoga practice to the web through Zephyr LIVE Zoom Classes, I also captured on film, a lot of practices that have a little more production value than Zoom can offer. The Class Passes are an offering of different yoga practices, meditations, pranayamas and practice tips to create a full experience for you based upon a theme. If you follow my regular LIVE classes or have practiced with me in studio, you know I am big on themes. Yoga is a union after all and connecting the mind, body and spirit on the mat is often complemented with a practice that is peppered with a little intention. “I have had a lot of requests for Asana that can help relieve back pain. I think a lot of our modern-life routines tend to create bad habits of sitting for far too long in front of a computer or slouched over a phone. Our lifestyles can really create a lot of pressure on our neck and back, in fact, it is one of the most common reasons people go to the doctor or miss work. Slipped discs, sore necks and strained spinal ligaments are just a few of the consequences of poor spinal hygiene. Below I have put together a collection of classes that focus on spinal health and alignment during practice as well as the complementary balancing force for a healthy back; strong core. Self Empowerment

“I have had a few conversations recently on the distinct difference between the terms; power and empower as we find ourselves in these uncertain times. Power is usually a term we use when we want to have control over something, others or our surroundings. Empowering has to do with making stronger and more confident and when we turn this intention towards ourselves and pepper our own practice with an intention of self-empowerment, well, the possibilities are endless. I like to introduce themes of self-empowerment to Asana and Meditation practices as much as possible, because if you don’t empower yourself, its a rare occurrence that somebody else will and the benefits of it, going through this modern world, pay dividends. “Below you will find some practices and meditations that resonate with me as a Yogi as I often find life moving a bit too fast. London is a city of energy and there are days when I thrive in my surroundings and the hustle and bustle of all of us moving through it and going on about our daily lives. However, I think I am naturally an introvert and need my space and need my time. This is a collection bespoke to those that connect with that feeling and also want to give themselves permission to be ok with that. Energetic Practices for the Energetic at Heart

“Need to feel like you’ve done some movement today? Want to feel like a weight has been lifted? I have put together a collection of Yoga Practices that I have recorded and they will probably bring back the feeling of life to your physical body and with any luck your mental and spiritual body as well. Whether you are someone that is constantly needing to move your body or you just had one of those days where you feel like blowing off some steam, these practices will keep the fire burning and for most people they will be medium to strong practices. I like to bring a bit of fire to practice every now and then as it can be a great teacher. As the heat increases with the pose, the mind tends to wander, such is life where when things get a bit uncomfortable, we react and unconsciously avoid the heat. With our practice and a bit of energetic movement we can practice the metaphor on the mat, stay conscious and embrace the moment. Hope this serves as a tool for you as much as it does me. Big Love”.
